Our church began in 1938 with a missionary opening up her home for a Bible study. Throughout the years, the church had grown meeting in other buildings until arriving at the church’s current facility off of Barrens Road in Roanoke County. Over the years, we have grown from a small group to a larger congregation, but have remained committed to bringing glory to God by changing lives with the gospel at home and the nations.
Faith Alliance Church has the wonderful privilege of being part of a movement of Great Commission like-minded churches through the Christians & Missionary Alliance (C&MA). The Alliance is a light-bearing, Jesus-centered missions and church-planting movement with believers growing deeper in their faith in Jesus at its heart. Alliance churches in the U.S. support missionaries abroad through the Great Commission Fund and have regular contact and interaction with those they support.
In addition, we pray that our partnership with missionaries abroad through the C&MA will embolden us to make disciples locally through our local church. We are passionately committed to bringing glory to God by making disciples through the gospel, community, and mission.
